Tilt, one of our Fund II portfolio companies, has raised $7.4 million in Series A funding to improve leave management through its service solution platform. We're proud of this team and are so grateful to be a part of their journey!

We're thrilled to share that Fiveable has raised it's Series A from Union Square Ventures and Owl Ventures - two leaders in VC and EdTech. Fiveable is “the hallways of the educational internet” and had over 7M students study, meet and connect on their platform last year. The additional capital will help Fiveable be the student-led, community-powered home of online learning to help students take ownership over their futures.

Cured, a healthcare digital marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) platform, today announced it has closed an oversubscribed $10 million Series A funding round. The round was led by DNA Capital and included participation from new investors CU Healthcare Innovation Fund and UCHealth. Existing investors High Alpha, Waterline Ventures, Matchstick Ventures, and Headwater Ventures also participated.

We are excited to announce that Matchstick Ventures Fund III has completed an investment in Fulfilld.‍ Fulfilld develops a cloud-based warehouse management solution that creates a digital twin of the user’s warehouse to optimize employee productivity and efficiency using machine learning and tracking workforce biometrics.

Branch, which has built a flexible workforce payments platform, has announced that it has raised $48 million in Series B funding and closed on a $500 million credit facility. We're thrilled to be a part of their journey, along with Lee Fixel's Addition, Drive Capital, Crosscut Ventures, Bonfire Ventures, and HR Tech Investments LLC.

We are hiring for a Head of Network who will be responsible for organizing, promoting, and facilitating connectivity within our network — including founders, mentors, investors, talent and other members of our ecosystems. This relationship-driven role will create more dynamic networks and programs at Matchstick to enhance our ability to learn from and connect with each other. This role requires defining the network strategy, forming meaningful connections across our network, and translating these initiatives into a platform that further supports our founders, partners, and communities.

We are excited to announce that Matchstick Ventures Fund III has completed an investment in Intelligems. Intelligems is a profit optimization engine for e-commerce companies.

We're excited to share that Parallax has raised a Series A funding round led by Grotech Ventures. Parallax is currently ahead of a plan to triple their 2020 sales revenue, which was just over $1M. These additional resources will help the company with hiring software engineers and data scientists to keep up with demand in the market by implementing key integrations faster.

A year ago we made specific commitments to the Black community to drive change. Today we are reporting on what we’ve done over the past year. We made progress on our goals (see below) but more importantly expanded our world view, gained more empathy and built new relationships. We're excited to share the news about Airspace Link's Series A. We're even more excited to work with Altos Ventures. The new capital will help Airspace expand its domestic offering and expand overseas.
